Though this is already the 4th Sikh wedding, I can always find some uniqueness from the new assignment.
This time round, congratulations to Zoravar & Charanjit for their engagement cum solemnization. We had temple prayer session in the morning, and ROM in the evening.
It’s a fun-filled day…

Sometimes, I wonder how many ROM venues there are in this small island of Singapore. Over the past 2 years, all my ROM shoots were held in different places.
This time, the assignment is an outdoor solemnization at Keppel club, right beside the sea.. EXCITING!
It was raining almost every afternoon before 01-Dec, but the solemnization of Shu Yee and Rugger was blessed with excellent weather and light. Together, we had a lot of fun exploring different photography spots around the club.

Superb event with fun filled actions! You would never expect the group of organizers to be voluntary mummies who might not know each other before the event.
But it doesn’t matter anymore… As 10eyesGallery framed this memorable day for this group of proud mothers, they don’t only know each person through forum’s nicks, but have met them in person.

The adage “you cannot control what happens to you but you can control how you react” came to mind, during Rachel & Benjamin’s solemnisation event.
It was raining heavily from the hour before the event but the couple never let it affect their moods. This surely tells of how the couple will waltz through any stormy weather in their relationship!
The rain stopped after the event and after the lease of yacht (which was supposed to bring in the couple for the pseudo march in). Nonetheless we had the opportunity to take some portrait shots on some borrowed yachts (courtesy of kind owners). It was fun to try out some strobe techniques in the dark environment.
Thanks once again to the Rachel and Benjamin, for giving us the chance to photograph your happy moments. A yacht club is our first!

This wedding is marked as the first work of 10eyes gallery. The unique date of 20102010 (20-Oct-2010) will be the anniversary of this very pleasant couple, and for us as well : )
It is the longest wedding shoot we have ever done, starting from 3am and ending at 1130pm. A salute to the couple and their brothers & sisters for looking so fresh throughout!
A week after the wedding, we put together a slideshow for Catherine and Lawrence to share with their relatives & friends. At that time, they were “honeymooning” in New Zealand. Their email reply made our day :
